DAY 1: ARRIVAL THEN GAME DRIVE TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your driver who will transfer you directly to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is approximately a 2-hour drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport, so you will have the opportunity to rest and acclimatize during the journey. Once you arrive at the park, you will start your game drive, with stops for lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Tarangire National Park is known for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and more. You will have the opportunity to explore the park and observe its wildlife until sunset. After the game drive, your driver will transfer you to your accommodation for the night, which can be either inside or outside the park depending on your preference.
Tarangire National Park is located in northern Tanzania and covers an area of approximately 2,600 square kilometers. It is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through the park and provides a crucial source of water for the wildlife during the dry season. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more. Tarangire National Park is also known for its baobab trees, which can live for thousands of years and can grow up to 30 meters tall. The best time to visit Tarangire National Park is during the dry season (June to October), when the wildlife congregates around the Tarangire River and is easier to spot.
DAY 2: TRANSFER TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK VIA OLDUVAI GORGE THROUGH NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
After breakfast at your hotel in Karatu, your driver will pick you up and drive you back to Tarangire National Park for a morning game drive. You will have another opportunity to see the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes before departing for Serengeti National Park. On your way to Serengeti, you will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you can stop at the Olduvai Gorge to learn about the rich history and archaeological significance of the area. After the visit to the gorge, continue to Serengeti National Park where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Check into your accommodations and spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the stunning views of the park.

DAY 3: FULL GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast at your accommodations, you will start a full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is one of the most famous national parks in Africa and is known for its incredible wildlife, including the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos). Your driver-guide will take you to the best spots in the park to see a wide variety of animals and landscapes, including the vast savannah plains, acacia trees, and rocky outcroppings called kopjes. You will also have the opportunity to see the annual wildebeest migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other animals move across the park in search of food and water. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while taking in the stunning views and wildlife around you. After a full day of game driving, you will return to your accommodations in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

After breakfast at your accommodations in Serengeti, you will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. The crater is the world’s largest intact caldera and is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the “Big Five” and rare black rhinoceros. You will have the opportunity to see the unique landscapes of the crater, which includes grassy plains, soda lakes, and a forest. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while taking in the stunning views and wildlife around you. In the late afternoon, you will exit the crater and return to your accommodations for dinner and relaxation.

DAY 5: HALF GAME DRIVE IN LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK AND TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT .
After breakfast at your accommodations, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley and is known for its tree-climbing lions and flamingos. During your game drive, you will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, baboons, and hippos. You will also have the chance to spot over 400 species of birds, including flamingos, pelicans, and storks. After your game drive, you will have a picnic lunch in the park before departing for Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight out.
