ITINERARY

Day 01: Transfer by Road from JRO to Tarangire & Game Drive

Start your adventure with an early morning departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). After being greeted by your safari guide, you’ll embark on a scenic 2.5-hour road transfer to Tarangire National Park, arriving around 10:30 AM. This park is famous for its large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and varied wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.

 

Around 12:30 PM, enjoy a lunch break. Afterward, you'll head out for an afternoon game drive from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Tarangire is known for its rich biodiversity, especially during the dry season, when animals gather around the Tarangire River.

Day 02: Transfer to Central Serengeti & Game Drive

After breakfast at 7:00 AM, you’ll begin your scenic 4-5 hour drive to the Central Serengeti. Along the way, you’ll see dramatic changes in landscape, from lush green plains to the vast open savannah of the Serengeti. Arriving around 12:00 PM, you’ll stop for a quick lunch before beginning your afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti.

 

From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you’ll explore the Serengeti’s iconic landscapes and abundant wildlife, with the chance to see the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos), cheetahs, and a variety of bird species. This area is famous for

Day 03: Full Game Drive in Northern Serengeti

Today, you will enjoy a full day of exploration in the Northern Serengeti, one of the most remote and pristine areas of the park. After breakfast at 6:30 AM, you will begin your drive to the Northern Serengeti, arriving around 10:30 AM. This region is famous for the Great Migration crossings of wildebeest and zebras at the Mara River, as well as its rich populations of wildlife, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

 

From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, enjoy a midday game drive, followed by a picnic lunch in the park. Continue your exploration in the afternoon from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with opportunities to see more predators, large herbivore herds, and stunning landscapes.

Day 04 : Half Game Drive in Northern Serengeti & Transfer to Central Serengeti

Start the day with an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM in the Northern Serengeti, the best time to spot predators and witness the savannah waking up. From 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, you’ll explore the area for wildlife sightings. Afterward, return to your accommodation for a breakfast at 9:30 AM.

 

At 11:00 AM, you’ll start your transfer back to Central Serengeti, with a scenic 3-4 hour drive. On the way, you can enjoy some final glimpses of wildlife in the Serengeti’s open plains. 2:30 PM: Arrive in the Central Serengeti, where you’ll have a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, you can enjoy some leisure time or go for a short afternoon game drive.

Day 3 Full Day Safari in Central Serengeti

Day 05: Transfer to Ngorongoro for Game Drive & Departure to JRO

After an early breakfast at 6:00 AM, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a journey of approximately 3-4 hours. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as you approach the Crater’s rim.

 

10:30 AM: Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the caldera for a half- day game drive. The crater is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, lions, flamingos, and black rhinos. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers one of the most incredible wildlife experiences in Africa. 4:00 PM: After the game drive, begin your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure or return to your accommodation, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.

Lake Manyara National Park is a compact yet ecologically diverse wildlife sanctuary located in northern Tanzania, covering 325 square kilometers between the sheer cliffs of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment and the glassy waters of Lake Manyara.
