Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide and transferred to your lodge or hotel in Arusha—a vibrant town nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Take the evening to relax and recover from your journey, enjoying a peaceful night in preparation for your safari adventure.

After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. Famed for its massive elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife, Tarangire is a photographer’s paradise. As you enjoy a scenic game drive, look out for lions, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a stunning variety of birdlife. The Tarangire River provides a lifeline for animals, especially during the dry season.

After breakfast, begin your journey towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, with picturesque views along the way. Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive across the endless plains, where the wildlife roams freely. The Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the golden morning light creates stunning photo opportunities. Spend the day exploring different regions of the Serengeti, observing prides of lions, families of elephants, herds of wildebeest and zebra, and perhaps a stealthy leopard lounging in a tree. You’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue your adventure until the sun sets over the savannah.

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most breathtaking wildlife sanctuaries. The crater floor is home to an incredible concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, hippos, zebras, flamingos, and more. Enjoy a half-day game drive before ascending and heading to Karatu for the night.

After a relaxed breakfast and some time to take in the beautiful views of the highlands, you’ll be transferred back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight. Your heart will be full of memories of stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife, and unforgettable moments.
