Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your friendly safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, a peaceful city nestled beneath the towering Mount Meru. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax and enjoy the lush gardens of your lodge, take a swim, or explore the local markets. This evening, unwind with a delicious dinner and prepare for your adventure ahead.

After an early breakfast, drive southwest to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and the life-giving Tarangire River that draws wildlife all year round. Enjoy a full game drive through the park’s rolling savannahs and acacia woodlands. Watch out for lions lounging in the shade, zebras grazing the plains, and an incredible variety of birds. Today, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you descend onto the plains, the true wilderness of the Serengeti unveils itself. Enjoy your first game drive en route to your camp or lodge, where you’ll have the chance to spot cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and if lucky, the elusive leopard. End the day with a beautiful sunset over the golden savannah.

Wake up early for a full-day game drive across the vast Serengeti plains. Depending on the time of year, you may witness the Great Migration—a phenomenal movement of over a million wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will take you to different habitats in search of predators on the prowl, herds of elephants, playful lion cubs, and an array of birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of an acacia tree and continue exploring until late afternoon.</p>

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti and head toward Lake Manyara National Park, located along the Great Rift Valley. Though small in size, the park is rich in diversity.
