Rhino Lodge is a comfortable and affordable accommodation option located on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater rim in Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Originally the home of the area’s first conservator, the lodge has retained its rustic charm and natural setting. It features 24 en-suite guestrooms, each equipped with a safe, veranda, and seating area. The rooms are arranged in two L-shaped rows around a central courtyard, offering views of the lush forest and the distant Oldeani Peak. The lodge’s main area includes a bar and dining room with large fireplaces, creating a cozy atmosphere for guests to relax after a day of exploration.
