Safari Haven Migration Camp is a seasonal, eco-friendly mobile tented lodge designed to track the path of the Great Wildebeest Migration across the Serengeti ecosystem in Tanzania. By shifting its operations between prime wildlife corridors throughout the year, the camp ensures guests have front-row access to the park’s most spectacular wildlife displays, such as the dramatic Mara River crossings or the vibrant calving season. The camp blends rustic wilderness immersion with modern comfort, offering raised glamping tents with solar-powered lighting, private en-suite bathrooms, hot solar showers, a central dining tent serving local and international cuisine, and a cozy evening campfire area.
The camp operates primarily in two strategic locations depending on the time of year to match the movement of the herds. From July to October, it is situated in the Northern Serengeti (Kogatende area) near the Mara River, putting travelers in the center of the action for the intense river crossings. From December to March, the camp relocates to the Southern Serengeti/Ndutu region to witness the synchronized calving season, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeest calves are born, attracting high concentrations of lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
